Helping the Poor

The Vincentian priests and brothers of the Congregation of the Mission OceaniaProvince, together with other branches of the Vincentian family, follow the call of Jesus Christ to provide service and charity to the poor, marginalised, and abandoned in society.

The poor are the people St. Vincent de Paul served so selflessly. It is in this interaction with the poor that we are able to see the face of Christ. Like St. Vincent, we work to help the homeless and those experiencing poverty. We encourage all to open their hearts to the poor and let their hearts see the face of Christ in them.
